Father Columba Stewart,
Member (2016–17) in the School of Historical Studies, has been
selected by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to
deliver the 2019 Jefferson Lecture in the Humanities.
Columba Stewart, former Member in the School of Historical
Studies, was accompanied by 60 Minutes' Lesley Stahl on his mission
to save historic texts from the destruction of ISIS for a report to
be broadcast on Sunday, December 24 at 7:00 p.m.
The Institute for Advanced Study and Hill Museum & Manuscript Library are partnering to provide open access to approximately 15,000 digitized Zaydi manuscripts from Yemen and neighboring countries.
