Thomas John Csordas

Thomas J. Csordas works on issues of embodiment and the transformation of meaning in illness and healing. His current project (with Janis H. Jenkins) examines the moral valence of adolescent mental health care with a focus that combines the experiential immediacy of young people’s lives with analysis of the institutional structure of care available to them and their families.
