SherAli K Tareen

SherAli K. Tareen is the author of the award-winning books “Defending Muhammad in Modernity” (2020) and “Perilous Intimacies: Debating Hindu-Muslim Friendship after Empire” (2023). At IAS, he will be working on his third book, an intellectual history and biography of the preeminent eighteenth century scholar Shah Walyullah (d. 1762).
