Lie Fu is studying algebraic cycles, guiding by the Bloch-Beilinson conjecture, using techniques in Hodge theory, derived category and motives. He is particularly interested in the case of varieties with trivial canonical bundle such as abelian varieties, Calabi-Yau varieties, and hyperkähler varieties.
