Kazuko Suzuki

Kazuko Suzuki will pursue the idea that race is neither a universal concept nor an idea purely born out ofWestern modernity. She will argue that the Asian perspective shows that race can be understood 'topologically' that is, as something that retains an inner core but that must be understood as having different phases over time that are interconnected historically.
