Jesús R. Escobar

While at IAS, Jesús R. Escobar will work on a book manuscript, “Americans Abroad in the Seventeenth Century: People, Buildings, and the Space of Empire,” which explores individual experiences with architecture in Mexico, Peru, Spain, and Italy. He specializes in architecture, urbanism, and cartography of the Spanish Habsburg empire.
