Since the wake of the COVID-19, 1 in 6 Asian Americans has experienced a hate incident. At IAS, Lee will write a book in which she links the present to the past, showing how this moment of anti-Asian racism reflects a legacy of xenophobia, misogyny & exclusion that is embedded in our laws, institutions, and history of science & medicine.
