Alexandra Villing is an archaeologist and curator of the Greek collections in the British Museum’s Department of Greece and Rome. Her research centers on the interaction between Greece and neighboring cultures in the first millennium B.C.E. At the IAS she prepared a publication on the international trading port of Naukratis in Egypt.
