Adrian Hamers is interested in gravitational dynamics, and theoretical and computational astrophysics in general. He is working on the long-term evolution of hierarchical systems, such as multi-planet and multi-star systems, and galactic nuclei. Applications include hot Jupiters, compact objects, type Ia supernovae, tidal disruptions, and gravitational wave sources.
