Hansheng Diao is interested in p-adic Hodge theory, (phi, Gamma)-modules, and families of Galois representations. He studies the geometry of eigencurves/eigenvarieties as applications,. Additionally, he is interested in perfectoid spaces, perfectoid Shimura varieties, and their connections to completed cohomology and Galois representations.
