Uri Zvi Shachar
Uri Zvi Shachar is interested in interreligious encounters in late medieval Europe and the Mediterranean. While at IAS, Shachar will study a fourteenth century encyclopedia called The Book of Sidrac, as a part of a project that seeks to reevaluate the history of Mediterranean French in its rise as a site of intellectual and literary contact.
