Our research aims to bring a new historical lighting on Tunisian women's life in eighteenth-nineteenth centuries As an exploration into the forgotten history, it delves deeply through traces left by ingenious women, according to various material data from the very daily life. Using their property, their knowledge and their hands, Muslim women in that context had been widely present in the life of their city and its history.
