Managing Scholar Nodes

The Scholar content type is only available to Group Editors within the Default group.

Scholar nodes are synced from IAS databases. Scholars may be edited in Drupal but should never be added in Drupal. In most cases, information from IAS databases should be relied upon, because IAS databases constitute our system of record. Synced fields are in the red “Synced Content” tab. Do not edit synced fields.

If for some reason information from IAS databases is insufficient or unsuitable for display on a website, the only supported way is to use fields on the scholar node Content tab.
