The study of scattering amplitudes has developed substantially over the past few years, ranging from precision calculations for the Large Hadron Collider through new approaches to gauge theories and gravity, all of which has branched out into pure mathematics. The international Amplitudes Conference will take place at the Institute for Advanced Study this summer with lectures and tutorials on various emerging topics. These meetings will bring together a community of researchers interested in both formal and practical aspects of scattering amplitudes. The topics discussed cover a wide range from pure mathematics to collider physics and gravitational waves. Please join us for a talk given by Nima Arkani-Hamed who will share a preview of these emerging topics.
