Carson Bay's research focuses on Hellenistic Judaism and its reception. His particular focus is on the writings of Flavius Josephus and their reception across languages, cultures, and time periods. His current book project analyzes how a medieval Hebrew iteration of this reception (Sefer Yosippon) dealt with its Latin Christian sources.
