Thomas Cass’s research concerns problems in rough analysis, a relatively new branch of mathematics that has emerged as a framework for studying random systems driven by highly oscillatory signals. His recent focus has been on the use of signature transform of rough path theory as a computational tool for analyzing sequential data.
