Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) Colloquium
Support for Solar Astrophysics at the National Science Foundation
NSF’s Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope (DKIST) has just begun operation and promises exciting new insights into plasma physics on the sun. In this talk, I will provide an overview of DKIST and the National Solar Observatory’s Integrated Synoptic Program. For students and early career scientists, I will provide a general introduction to NSF, the Merit Review Process, and the Astronomy and Astrophysics Grants program.
