Robbert Dijkgraaf to be Among First Instructors of World Science U’s Master Classes

Robbert Dijkgraaf, Director and Leon Levy Professor, will be among the first eight instructors of World Science U's Master Classes — a series of short, sharply focused explorations guided by world-renowned scientists. Dijkgraaf's Master Class, "The Past and Future of Unification," will discuss the connections between the very big and the infinitesimally small, and the work to formulate an all-encompassing description of the universe.

World Science U is a digital-education initiative launched by World Science Festival cofounder and former Member Brian Greene to break down the cutting edge of science for serious enthusiasts and learners from all walks of life. Of the inaugural group of eight Master Class instructors, four are former Members of the Institute: Edward Frenkel, Professor of Mathematics at UC Berkeley; Alan Guth, Victor Weisskopf Professor of Physics at MIT; Paul Steinhardt, Albert Einstein Professor in Science at Princeton University; and Max Tegmark, Professor of Physics at MIT.
