Didier Fassin Awarded 2019 French Red Cross Foundation Research Prize
Didier Fassin, James D. Wolfensohn Professor in the School of Social Science, has been awarded the 2019 "Honorary" Prize by the French Red Cross Foundation.
Fassin is recognized "for his research work on moral economies and the innovative perspective it offers on the analysis of international humanitarian aid and the treatment of poverty, immigration, and asylum in France."
Fassin accepted the award during a ceremony in Paris on September 25, 2019.
