Peter Sarnak Recognized with Royal Society Sylvester Medal

Peter Sarnak, Professor in the School of Mathematics, has been awarded the 2019 Sylvester Medal by the Royal Society.

Conferred annually, the award honors outstanding researchers in the field of mathematics. Sarnak is recognized "for transformational contributions across number theory, combinatorics, analysis, and geometry."
