Juan Maldacena and Robbert Dijkgraaf Discuss Physics at Lorentz Medal Ceremony

On November 19, 2018, Juan Maldacena, Carl P. Feinberg Professor in the School of Natural Sciences, was presented the Lorentz Medal by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Following the presentation of the medal, Maldacena sat down with Institute Director and Leon Levy Professor Robbert Dijkgraaf to discuss Maldacena's discovery of the AdS/CFT correspondence, how the theory has evolved, and the future of scientific research.
