Videos from Conference in Honor of Arnold J. Levine

During his career, Arnold J. Levine, Professor Emeritus in the School of Natural Sciences, has worked across the biological sciences, from virology and immunology to molecular biology and genetics, and mentored countless scholars.

On September 12 and 13, 2019, the Institute for Advanced Study hosted a conference in celebration of Levine's eightieth birthday and the fortieth anniversary of the discovery of the p53 protein, which Levine was one of the first researchers to independently isolate.

Over a dozen leaders in systems biology research, many of them former Members or Visitors at the Simons Center for Systems Biology at IAS, gave talks on a range of topics, spanning from Levine's work and influence to p53 and future cancer research.
