Muriel Debié is working on a book that aims to deconstruct the ­prevalent monolithic view of the seventh century. It will show how the apocalyptic currents that pervaded the three monotheisms are a major interpretative key of the period. It will also advocate for a better appreciation of the various Christian affiliations’ understanding of history.
