Former Member Awarded 2016 Cecil B. Currey Book Award

David Pietz, Member (2011–12) in the School Historical Studies, has been awarded the 2016 Cecil B. Currey Book Award from the Association of Global South Studies for his book, The Yellow River: The Problem of Water in Modern China (Harvard University Press, 2015). Pietz completed the manuscript for his book during his time at the Institute.
