Harvard to Host Memorial in Honor of Maryam Mirzakhani on August 13

Harvard University will hold a memorial in celebration of the life and legacy of Maryam Mirzakhani, Member (2015) in the School of Mathematics, on Sunday, August 13. Speaking on Mirzakhani’s impact on science and society will be Roya Beheshti; Curtis T. McMullen, Member (1996–97) in the School of Mathematics; Hazhir Rahmandad; Cumrun Vafa, Member (1994) in the School of Natural Sciences; and Nina Zipser. The discussion will be moderated by Artan Sheshmani.
