Former Member Sharon Gerstel Awarded Book Prize

Sharon Gerstel, former Member (2010-11) in the School of Historical Studies, has been awarded the 2016 inaugural book prize of the International Center of Medieval Art for her book, Rural Lives and Landscapes in Late Byzantium: Art, Archaeology, and Ethnography (Cambridge University Press, 2015), which she completed during her stay at the Institute.
