David Rubenstein Elected to American Philosophical Society

David M. Rubenstein, IAS Trustee, has been elected to the American Philosophical Society, along with Martin Jay and Jean-Louis Ferrary, former Members in the School of Historical Studies.

The American Philosophical Society is the nation's oldest learned society, founded in 1743 by Benjamin Franklin for the purpose of "promoting useful knowledge."
