Joan Wallach Scott Receives Honorary Doctorate

Joan Wallach Scott, Professor Emerita in the School of Social Science, has been awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor of Science from the University of Edinburgh. The award, presented by the University's Principal and Vice Chancellor, Professor Peter Mathieson, is in recognition of Professor Scott’s distinguished contribution to critical history, gender studies, and academic freedom.
