Authoritative and popular voices have called upon the lessons of history to justify military actions in Ukraine, as well as to argue against them. IAS’s School of Historical Studies hosts a panel of experts on the history of the region, from antiquity to the present day, asking how the study of the past can inform our understanding of current events as well as point the way toward possible futures.
