Join us on Wednesday, November 8 for an evening of dance and cultural exploration. Bala Devi Chandrasekhar will perform a traditional Indian classical dance titled "Padmavati: An Avatar ".
 
Delving into the ancient traditional Indian classical dance form of Bharatanatyam, this performance will aim to showcase dance as a composite work, exploring its multifaceted nature and the intricate relationship between the performer and the pedagogues in choreography. Bala Devi will also explore Bharatanatyam's cultural anthropology, aesthetic, and historical aspects, as well as the deep connection between India's yoga and classical dance traditions, which have been intertwined for centuries.
