Lorraine Daston, Institute Trustee and Director of the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, has been awarded the international Dan David Prize, which recognizes innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms.

Professor Sabine Schmidtke and Institute Trustees Lorraine Daston and Benedict Gross are among those newly elected.  Other elected members include David Hollinger, former Institute Trustee and Member (1977–78, 1999) in the School of Historical Studies.
