Possible and Impossible in Effective Field Theory: From the S-Matrix to the Swampland
May 2 - 4, 2022
Program Organizers:
Nima Arkani-Hamed, Institute for Advanced Study
Sebastian Mizera, Institute for Advanced Study
Recent results on the fingerprints of causality and unitarity on scattering amplitudes, both with and without gravity, have lead to interesting constraints on the S-matrix and effective field theories a la the swampland program. The goal of this workshop is to bring together various experts across the relevant fields to discuss future direction from multiple points of view. This workshop will be held in person only.
This workshop is sponsored by the Carl P. Feinberg Program in Cross-Disciplinary Innovation.
