On the Classification of Rational Conformal Field Theories
The Institute for Advanced Study requires that all adult visitors, collaborators, conference and on-campus seminar attendees and outside vendors coming to the Institute are required to have completed a COVID-19 vaccination and booster in order to enter the IAS campus. Abstract: I will present a classification of all unitary, rational conformal field theories with two primaries, central charge c < 25, and arbitrary Wronskian index. This recent result (in collaboration with Brandon Rayhaun) relies in part on some classic results on the classification of meromorphic CFT at central charge 24 and of more general CFT via Modular Linear Differential Equations (MLDE). These approaches, and the relevant background, will be reviewed along the way.
