Zeros and Infinities of the Kinematic Mesh
Abstract: We begin with understanding scalar color-ordered amplitudes via the kinematic mesh and the ABHY associahedron. There are three important aspects of this construction: its zeros, large deformations and splitting. The zeros will imply the existence of zeros of flat-space cosmological wavefunction coefficients. The large deformations will yield an "amplitude-like" function at infinity and in particular will inform the existence of a polytope description of some pion amplitudes. Finally, we also comment on how the splitting of such amplitudes is tied to good UV behaviour and a specific recursive construction of them. In this way, we will study both the zero and infinite limits of the associahedron.
