Princeton University PCTS Workshop
Random Physics
Organizers: Giorgio Cipolloni, Jonah Kudler-Flam, Samuel Leutheusser, Gautam Satishchandran, Edward Witten
Free, but required registration is now open. Space is limited so please register promptly. This will take less than 1 minute of your time.
This workshop is in person only. Registration is for in-person attendance only. We will be live streaming the talks, but not recording. You do not need to register if you plan on only watching the live stream. The live-stream link will be placed on the PCTS workshop website.
Description: This workshop will bring together a diverse group of researchers from quantum information, condensed-matter, high-energy, and mathematical physics backgrounds to share ideas and explore strategies for tackling physical problems using tools from random matrix theory and operator algebras. Focuses of this workshop include (but are not limited to) applications of free probability theory in physics, energy/entropy inequalities in quantum field theory and gravity, and non-Hermitian random matrix theory and dissipative quantum physics. Additional details can be found line.
