Mathematical Physics Seminar

Spectral prosperities of random matrices can be described in terms of correlations of a statistical mechanics model with hyperbolic symmetry. This talk will describe and analyze a simpler version of this model which is closely related to random walk in an random environment. We establish the presence of a diffusion phase in 3 dimensions.
