Resonant Dynamics in Evolutionary Dispersive Equations

Abstract: The dynamical system related to a forced differential equation can be best understood by first characterizing any possible resonant effects that the forcing term exerts on the linearized equation. We will discuss challenges of extending this simple idea to understanding short and long term behavior of semi-linear Schrodinger equations.
