How do I add CSDM or School of Math Seminars ical feeds to an Android device?
Step 1: Add the calendar(s) to Google Calendar
To add the CSDM Seminars iCal feed to Google Calendar:
- Go to the Institute's online calendar webpage.
- Scroll down to the "iCal Feeds" section of the page, right-click on "CSDM Seminars" and choose "Copy Link."
- Open Google Calendar in a web browser.
- Click the plus sign (+) in the "Other Calendars" section.
- Select "From URL."
- Paste the URL of the "CSDM Seminars" iCal feed that was copied in Step 2 into the "From URL" field.
- Click on "Add Calendar."
- Wait for Google to import the events.
To add the Mathematics seminars iCal feed to Google Calendar:
- Go to the Institute's online calendar webpage.
- Scroll down to the "iCal Feeds" section of the page, right-click on "Mathematics" and choose "Copy Link."
- Open Google Calendar in a web browser.
- Click the plus sign (+) in the "Other Calendars" section.
- Select "From URL."
- Paste the URL of the "Mathematics" iCal feed that was copied in Step 2 into the "From URL" field.
- Click on "Add Calendar."
- Wait for Google to import the events.
Step 2: Sync the calendar(s) on your Android device
- Open the Calendar app on your device, open the menu, and select Settings.
- Select the Google account to which you added the calendar feed.
- Tap on Show more and then the calendar you are interested in displaying on your calendar (e.g., CSDM Seminars, Mathematics, etc.)
- Turn on the Sync option.
- Repeat this process for each additional calendar feed you would like to sync to your device.
