Geoffrey HermanHebrew University of Jerusalem History of Jews in Antiquity Statement: Geoffrey Herman is currently working on a book that examines the social, religious, and cultural experience of the inhabitants of one Sasanian province, Babylonia. Integrating the disparate contemporary narratives of Jews, Christians, Manicheans and Zoroastrians, it will probe the socio-cultural 'koine' of the region, and the common modes of religious expression.
