Staying Connected to the Institute
It is the Institute's goal to ensure that the bonds our Members form to one another, as well as to our Faculty and Staff, remain strong long after their appointment has ended. The primary mechanism for sustaining those ties is our "Association of Members of the Institute for Advanced Study" (AMIAS), of which all former and current Institute scholars are members.
Founded in 1974, AMIAS' membership spans more than fifty countries, and through the Association, former Members enjoy numerous opportunities to "stay connected" to the Institute for Advanced Study.
