If you choose to make a cash gift, you are entitled to a charitable income tax deduction for the entire amount, subject only to the giving limits of your annual income. For example, if you give a gift of $1,000, then $1,000 is deductible. If you give a gift of $10,000, then $10,000 is deductible.

If you exceed your giving limit - up to 50% of your annual adjusted gross income - you may carry forward and deduct the excess contribution for five additional years until it has been fully deducted.

You may donate to the Institute by check, credit card, or you may wire funds directly to the Institute's account.  You may also donate to the Institute for Advanced Study online. Click here to donate online.
