Laundry Facility

The laundry facility is located in the Activities Building in the center of the housing complex and is equipped with washers and dryers available for use 24 hours a day. The laundry facility will automatically lock between 5:30 pm and 7:00 am each weekday and will be locked 24 hours on weekends and holidays. Your Institute identification card is programmed to access the Activities Building, the laundry room, and the lounge. During regular business hours, however, the doors will remain unlocked and the identification card will not be required for access.

Our laundry facility has commercial-grade front-loading machines that use less water and energy. The machines will accept multiple forms of payment, including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and mobile payments. Users can also download the Kiosoft CleanPay App for enhanced features, account management, and to start the machines with their cell phones.

We encourage the use of the payment methods mentioned above; however, we also have the option to use a vending card, which can be obtained at Fuld Hall Reception. If a user chooses to use a vending card, one can be loaded with a cash payment at Fuld Hall Reception. A cardholder can also get a cash refund for any cash balance that exists on the card before the visitor leaves IAS.

The cost to use a washer is $2.50 per load. The cost to use a dryer is $2.50 per load.

Recently, we rolled out the KioSoft CleanPay app, a user-friendly laundry application designed to make your laundry experience more efficient and convenient.

The KioSoft CleanPay app is not mandatory for operating our laundry units. However, the app offers numerous advantages that we believe will enhance your laundry experience. Here's what you can expect:

  • Real-time Laundry Updates: With the KioSoft CleanPay app, you'll gain full access to real-time information on the availability of washers and dryers in our facility. No more wasted trips to find all the machines in use, and you can see how many minutes are left on a unit that's currently running.
     
  • Convenient Notifications: One of the standout features of the app is the ability to set up notifications. Get alerted when your laundry cycle is complete, saving you precious time and ensuring you can promptly retrieve your fresh, clean clothes.
     
  • Streamlined Maintenance Requests: Should you encounter a laundry unit in need of service or maintenance, the KioSoft CleanPay app allows you to request assistance with ease, ensuring our facilities remain in optimal working condition.

 

How to Sign Up for KioSoft CleanPay

Downloading the KioSoft CleanPay laundry app is a simple process. Just follow these easy steps:

  • Download the App: Visit your device's app store and download the KioSoft CleanPay app.

  • Manual Entry: Upon opening the app, click on the blue button that reads "Enter SRC Code Manually."
     
  • Enter the IAS SRC Code:  IASLS01
     
  • Register an Account: Click the blue button to register an account. You'll be prompted to enter your email address, create a password, and provide your phone number. After completing this information, click "Submit." 

  • Verification Code: A 4-digit verification code will be sent to your phone via text message. Enter this code into the app and click "Continue."
